An entry for the PICO-1K Jam!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• The cats are coming... for you!
• Their touch is deadly.
• The laser cannot harm you, but is deadly against space cats!
• Move with arrow keys!
• Stay alive!
• Beat your own high score!

WHAT'S THIS ABOUT?

This is my attempt to make a fairly complete arcade style game in less than 1k of Pico-8 characters. I wanted to make something that had a full game loop (i.e. no user reset required) with interesting features like high scores. This was made for the PICO-1K Jam, so a lot of compromises had to be made, but I think it's quite close now to my initial idea.
